BOS AND MILLER DELIVER IN 4-1 WIN OVER JAGUARS
BOURBONNAIS. Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's (ONU) women's soccer team extended their winning streak with a 4-1 victory over the Governors State University Jaguars on Tuesday at home. The Tigers controlled possession early and surged in the second half, putting together a commanding performance to keep their momentum alive in conference play.
The first half was tightly contested, but ONU broke through in the 31st minute when Skylar Bos calmly buried a penalty kick to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. The Jaguars pressed for an equalizer, but ONU's defense held strong, and the Tigers went into the half up by a goal.
The second half saw ONU come alive offensively. Just minutes after the restart, Melea Miller extended the lead with a goal in the 49th minute, assisted by Aaliyah Racadio-Kahoohanohano, before Bos quickly followed up with her second goal just minutes later. Miller added her second in the 53rd minute, assisted by Cassidy Garberding, as the Tigers poured in three goals in a five-minute span. Though Governors State managed to pull one back in the 77th minute, ONU's relentless attack sealed the 4-1 victory.

The Tigers will travel to face the University of St. Francis Fighting Saints in their next conference matchup on October 5th, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. CST. ONU will look to continue their winning form on the road as they push further into the conference season.
