ONU SWIM CONTINUES BUSY START WITH DUALS AT LEWIS

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's & women's swimming team continued their busy start to the 2024-25 season with their second dual in five days, taking on Lewis Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers swam hard but ultimately fell to the Flyers on both sides.

The Tiger women were led by sister duo Kayla Parry and Ashley Parry. The former won a pair of events in the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.83) and breaststroke (2:29.27), while the latter added a win in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.16).

The ONU men collected runner-up finishes from three different Tigers. Alejandro Arteago Restrepo placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.47), Jack Fries was the runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.09), and Ollie Shead took second in the 100-yard butterfly (53.29).
