BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — Olivet Nazarene (IL) (5-2, 3-0) defeated Trinity Christian (IL) (3-4, 1-2) with a decisive 108-77 victory at McHie Arena. The Tigers shot 64.3% from the field, including 53.6% from beyond the arc, and led by as many as 33 points in the second half.
The opening half saw Olivet Nazarene establish control early with a 3-pointer by Mason Wood, assisted by Eli Edwards, at 19:15. Despite an initial tie, the Tigers surged ahead with a crucial 14-point lead, highlighted by a layup from Edwards at 3:18, assisted by Andrew Bennett.
