TIGERS BOUNCE BACK IN A CRUCIAL ROAD WIN AT SAINT XAVIER

CHICAGO — Olivet Nazarene (IL) (14-8, 10-4) secured a 77-72 victory over Saint Xavier (IL) (8-13, 6-8) on Saturday at the Shannon Center. The Tigers capitalized on 52.9% shooting from beyond the arc to maintain their advantage.

Olivet opened the game with a strong start, highlighted by Mason Wood's 3-pointer just 24 seconds into play, assisted by Andrew Bennett. Eli Edwards contributed, scoring a layup and a jumper early on, helping the team establish momentum. Throughout the half, the Tigers maintained the lead, achieving their largest margin of 11 points at 8:29 following Keagen Holder's 3-pointer, assisted by Wood.
