JASPER'S HAT TRICK FIRES TIGERS PAST THE TROLLS
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The No. 18 Olivet Nazarene University men's soccer team ran away to a 7-0 victory over the Trolls of Trinity Christian Wednesday night at Snowbarger Athletic Complex. Max Jasper highlighted the evening with his first hat trick of the season while freshman Luca Swinton scored his first career goal as a member of the Tigers.
Olivet took control of the game straight from the kick-off registering the first three shots of the match including an attempt from Jasper that ricocheted off the top-corner crossbar. The breakthrough came in the 13th minute as Justin Eisenmann played a centering pass to Jasper for an easy finish. Eisenmann found the back of the net 12 minutes later as Fabio Hasler cut a ball back to the top of the box for the forward to curl in a goal. Jasper scored his second of the night at the 32:11-mark only for Nick Kilian to score the Tiger's fourth goal of the match 28 seconds later. With three minutes left in the first half, Eisenmann scored his second of the evening.

Jasper completed the hat trick in the 72nd minute as ONU was awarded a penalty kick. The Netherlands native buried it from the spot to extend the lead to six. As time wound down, Swinton was afforded an opportunity with a free kick in the 87th minute. The freshman caught the goalkeeper setting his wall without the center official halting play leaving the goal open for a quick restart goal. With the win, the Purple and Gold have extended their winning streak to five games and have claimed nine out of nine possible points in their first three conference matches.
