HAWS, SALEH SHINE IN SEASON-OPENING WARHAWK INVITATIONAL

WHITEWATER, Wis. – Chatton Haws and Paul Saleh put forth strong showings to lead the Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis team at the Whitewater Warhawk Invitational Friday afternoon. It was the first event of the season for the Tigers.

Haws worked his way through the top bracket all the way to the championship match, finishing runner-up in the tournament's main event. Saleh followed suit, winning the bronze medal match and claiming third place in the No. 1 bracket.

The duo, who ranked in the top 20 in the NAIA for doubles last season, then teamed up to win the championship match and take down the entire top bracket.

"I'm proud of how we competed as a team against some really strong competition," said Head Coach Randy Haws.

The Tigers will be back on the newly resurfaced courts at Snowbarger to host Gosehn next Friday, Sept. 19.
