ONU MEN'S TENNIS DROPS MATCH TO ROOSEVELT

Results

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Fresh off a victory against Prairie State College, the ONU men's tennis team faced Roosevelt University at Snowbarger on Friday afternoon.

The #1 doubles team for the Tigers rallied late to secure the first point for ONU, with Chatton Haws and Paul Saleh defeating their opponents 7-5.

In Singles, Haws won the #1 match in straight sets, 6-4,6-4. Also scoring for the Tigers was his doubles partner, Saleh, who won an intense three-setter at 6-3,6-7, and a third set which ended in a 15-13 tiebreaker to seal the point for ONU.

Keenan Haws fought hard in a close 4-6,3-6 match in #4 singles, but the Tiges were unable to gain anymore momentum and ultimately dropped the contest to Roosevelt 2-5.
