TIGERS SHINE AT NCC HEENAN INVITATIONAL WITH VICTORIES IN MULTIPLE EVENTS
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Olivet Nazarene University track and field team turned in a strong all‑around showing at the NCC Heenan Invitational on Saturday. Multiple individuals claimed victories, while several others delivered key early‑season marks.
Women
Carsyn Burdine led the way on the track for the Tigers, with wins in the 60m (7.81) and 200m (25.29). Burdine's two victories established herself as one of the day's top performers. Amanda Gustafson swept the day's throwing events, winning the shot put (13.43m) and weight throw (14.53m) in dominant fashion. Gustafson finished more then a meter ahead of the runner-up in both events. Hailey Perrine earned the other victory for the ONU women in the long jump, landing at 5.23m to claim the event title.

- Olivia Lentz - 2nd in the 60m hurdles (9.39) and 4th in the 200m (26.41)
- Heidi Heldt - 2nd in the mile (4:54.83)
- Isabella Wojciechowski - 2nd in the 3000m (10:51.53)
- Teleyah Covington - 2nd in the 200m (25.93) and 3rd in the 60m (7.87)
- Zora Kersey - 4th in the long jump (4.94m)
- Grace Pauli - 4th in the pole vault (3.22m)
- Haylee Whitcraft - 5th in the 60m (8.06)
- Kristen Garth - 6th in the 200m (27.27) and 8th in the 60m (8.32)
- Angel Ward - 7th in the 60m (8.20) and 8th in the 200m (27.46)
- Clara Brunner - 8th in the shot put (10.41m)
Men
Noah Mack delivered one of the meet's top performances, winning the 200m (21.79) and finishing 2nd in the 60m (6.86). Marcus Robinson finished first in the weight throw with a massive 16.97m and claimed 3rd in the shot put (15.53m). Pacey Nack won the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.30m.

- Avery Johnson - 4th in the 60m hurdles (8.78)
- Desmond Hunter - 4th in the long jump (6.84m)
- Darrin Dussett - 5th in the 200m (22.74)
- Austin Rush - 5th in the 3000m (9:07.85)
- Jaden Davis - 6th in the pole vault (3.95m)
- Patrick O'Connor - 7th in the shot put (13.57m)
- Kennedy Hamilton - 7th in the triple jump (13.15m)
- Creedon Welch - 7th in the long jump (6.61m)
- Leo Cardenas - 8th in the pole vault (3.95m)
The Tigers are back at home for their next meet on Friday, Jan. 30.
