ONU SWEEPS GOSHEN BEHIND BALANCED OFFENSE

GOSHEN, Ind. - Olivet Nazarene University men's volleyball earned a strong road sweep at Goshen on Feb. 13, winning 25–22, 25–23, 25–23 behind a balanced offense and steady late‑set execution. The Tigers hit .304 with 48 kills while holding Goshen to .184. Cade Ooms led ONU with 15 kills and 11 digs, while Tomas Gonzalez directed the attack with 43 assists and eight digs. Nic VanOort added 12 kills, and Cameron Johnston chipped in nine. The Tigers collected 39 digs and 4 total blocks.

ONU opened with an efficient .438 hitting performance, posting 16 kills with only two errors in the first set. Key kills from Ooms and Johnston, plus a service ace from Ooms, helped secure the tight first set.

Despite eight attack errors, ONU controlled late rallies in the second set. The set featured six ties before the Tigers closed out the final two points behind steady swings from Ooms and VanOort.

In the third set, Goshen led early, but ONU answered with strong hitting from Ooms and VanOort. A late 4–1 run, highlighted by multiple VanOort kills, completed the sweep.

ONU improves to 4–7 on the season. The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Judson.
