ONU MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNS STRONG IN LOUISVILLE
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Under sunny skies and warm conditions, ONU Men's Cross Country delivered a strong performance with several personal bests at the Louisville Cross Country Classic, Saturday morning at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
The Tigers were led by junior Charlie Bardwell, who clocked a time of 25:55.40 to place 40th overall.
Reese DeVriendt followed closely behind Bardwell, finishing 72nd in 26:15.10, while sophomore Jeremiah Lanum crossed the line in 80th at 26:18.50.
Junior Austin Tice and senior Austin Roush rounded out Olivet's scoring five, placing 92nd and 95th, respectively, with times of 26:23.60 and 26:24.70.
The Tigers finished with a final score of 376 points to place 11th out of 41 teams.
With this performance, the Tigers continue to build momentum heading into the heart of the season where they will next compete at the Pilot Invitational on Oct. 11.
