Hall of Fame Criteria

Former Athletes

1. Demonstrated outstanding performance with athletic honors earned. (e.g. All-American, All-Conference, etc.)
2. Associated with ONU Athletics for a minimum of three years or a minimum of two years and graduated from ONU.
3. Last represented ONU in competition at least five years prior to nomination.
4. Have brought honor and distinction to ONU.

Former Coaches

1. Been a head coach at ONU for a minimum of eight years.
2. Demonstrated exemplary/meritorious service and performance. 
3. Brought honor and distinction to ONU.

Team

1. Competed in the semifinals of its respective sport's national tournament.
2. Participated in a national tournament at least 10 years prior.
3. Only one (1) team per year.

Meritorious Service

1. Demonstrated meritorious service for ONU Athletics. Meritorious service is defined as a significant level of support and dedication over a period of several years. 
2. No person shall be elected to the Hall of Fame based solely on monetary contribution to ONU or its athletic programs.
