ONU FALTERS ON THE ROAD AT IU NORTHWEST

GARY, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's volleyball team continued a tough stretch in its season, putting up a strong fight but ultimately picking up their third consecutive loss with a 25-22, 20-25, 25-27, 23-25 setback at Indiana Northwest Tuesday night in the Savannah Center.

Kaitlyn Kolb put forth a valiant effort for the Tigers, putting down a match-high 13 kills and assisting on three blocks. But she was the only Tiger to reach double figures in the former stat while IU Northwest had three players tally double-digit kills in the match.

Naomi Monney-Hori was second on the team in kills, finishing with nine. Ava Smith recorded eight and Sabrina Sanif tabbed four. Halle Nicholas and Ema Zula both finished with three kills apiece. Kelsey Todd and Kaylee Cozen added one kill each.

Kate Worthy was credited with a team-best 16 assists while adding 12 digs. Sara Serafimova led the team with a season-high 30 digs. Breanna Lamie registered 11.

ONU (6-13, 2-3 CCAC) will look to get back to its winning ways Thursday at St. Ambrose.
