Bio

Dillon Dahl was named the head men's volleyball coach in May 2024.

Behind Dahl, the 2024 ONU men's volleyball team posted a 14-11 overall record and went 7-3 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) league play, good for the third-best record in the conference.

The team also garnered four all-CCAC selections, including the CCAC Freshman of the Year Brody McAfee, and earned a trip to the CCAC Tournament Semifinals. The Tigers also ended the 2024 season with 2.54 b/s, which was the third-highest in NAIA that season.

Before ONU, Dahl was the women's assistant coach at Black Hills State University for the 2023 season and the men's and women's volleyball assistant coach at Dordt University from 2021-2023, where he was named the 2023 AVCA NAIA National Assistant Coach of the Year.

Before Dordt, Dahl taught high school science for four years at Dell Rapids, SD. He also served as a volleyball assistant coach and the head boy's track coach.

Athletic Background:

As a collegiate athlete, Dahl competed in the decathlon and javelin at Northern State from 2012-2016. He placed in the events twice in 2014 and 2015 at the conference level. He earned academic all-conference honors from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference four times.
