
DOUBLES POINT SECURES 4-3 WIN OVER ROSE-HULMAN
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis team capitalized off their doubles play to pick up a 4-3 match win over Rose-Hulman Saturday afternoon at the Terre Haute Tennis & Pickleball Center.
Chatton Haws and Andres Viedma dominated the top doubles match with a clean 6-0 victory. After falling just short in the No. 2 doubles match, Brian Victoria Ayala and Paul Saleh rallied for a 6-4 victory in the No. 3 match to secure the pont.
The doubles point paired with singles wins from Viedma, Saleh, and Juan Banuls Diaz made for a winning day Saturday. Viedma claimed the No. 2 singles match with a 6-3. 6-2 win. Saleh won 6-4, 6-1 to take the No. 3 match, and Banuls wrapped up the win with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles.
The Tigers, now 4-1 on the young season, will look to keep it rolling when they travel to DePauw Tuesday.
