ONU SURVIVES JUDSON TO REMAIN IN THE CCAC RACE

ELGIN, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's basketball program escaped the Linder Fitness Center with a 79-75 victory over the Judson Eagles Wednesday night. Olivia Dirkse and Caroline Boehne's layups in the final 1:30 of the game lifted the Tigers for their 14th CCAC win of the season to stay on pace with the rest of the conference leaders.

ONU held off the Eagles down the stretch after carrying a 12-point lead into the final quarter. The Eagles outscored the Tigers 26-20 for the period fighting back to draw the contest level at the 2:09 mark after JU's Sydney Novak hit a three-point basket tied the score at 75-75. Dirkse quickly regained the lead in the following possession grabbing an offensive board and converting the put back. Boehne's layup with 11 seconds left in regulation put the game away and gave Olivet their seventh road win of the year.

Boehne and Dirkse led the way for the Tigers in scoring. The graduate senior forward put up 18 points on 7-18 from the floor and converted all four of her attempts from the charity stripe. Off the bench, the freshman guard poured in 14 points grabbing four rebounds and swiping two steals. She has now scored in double figures for the 11th time this season.

Other major contributors included 11 points from Olivia Demosthenes. She also added five rebounds to her final stat line. Bett O'Neal provided nine points, three steals and three assists on the night. Khendel Rolison and Brooklyn Marshall each tallied five steals.
