BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University softball resumed their suspended game from April 5th and played a non-conference seven-inning game as they hosted the Lakers of Roosevelt University at Tiger Field on Thursday.  The Tigers won the suspended game 10-5, while they used late-inning heroics to win the full-length game, 6-5.  The Tigers ended the regular season with a 10-game winning streak.

The Tigers sent Kori Fricke to start the game for the Tigers.  Fricke went only an inning and Emily Blucker came into the game in the second to work the duration of the game.  Blucker went the remaining six innings and allowed no runs, on three hits, and fanned seven batters. With one out, Haley Dobson doubled home Margaret Landis and made the score, 5-1.  Megan Mann then platted a pair of runs on a two-run double to make the score, 5-3.  After a single by Allie Timm, Faith Mikos drove in the fourth run for the Tigers on an RBI single.  The Tigers were within one run at 5-4. The game remained at 5-4 until the Tigers deadlocked the game in the bottom of the sixth.  With two outs, Matti Lanie tripled home Margaret Landis, which made the score five all.

The Tigers then walked it off in the bottom of the seventh as Mikos drove-in Mann on an RBI groundout as ONU won the full-length game, 6-5.
