SECOND-HALF GOALS SINK TIGERS IN 2-0 TO JUDSON

ELGIN, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's (ONU) men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 defeat on the road against Judson University on Saturday. Despite a hard-fought first half that saw the Tigers hold their own, two second-half goals from Judson ultimately sealed the result.

The first half was a defensive battle, with both teams fighting for control but unable to break through. ONU's defense held strong, denying Judson any clear opportunities to score. The Tigers created a few chances of their own but went into halftime locked in a scoreless draw.

Judson broke the deadlock in the 60th minute, finding the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead. ONU pushed for an equalizer but was unable to capitalize on their opportunities. Judson extended their lead in the 78th minute, making it 2-0 and putting the game out of reach for the Tigers. Despite their efforts, ONU couldn't mount a comeback, and the match ended in a 2-0 loss.

Looking Ahead

ONU will hit the road once again for their next match against Loyola University on Oct. 22nd, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. CST. The Tigers will look to bounce back and regain their form in the upcoming non-conference match.
