TIGERBALL TALLIES SIXTEENTH WIN OF THE YEAR WITH VICTORY OVER CALUMET

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. –  The Olivet Nazarene women's basketball team returned to winning ways after a 131-70 victory over Calumet College of St. Joseph Monday night. Six different Tigers reached double digits in scoring while Caroline Boehne led the way registering her seventh double-double of the season.

The Crimson Wave jumped out to an early 6-2 in the first 2:26 of the first quarter. Kaitlyn Clark's layup midway through the period gave ONU a 12-11 advantage, a lead they would not relinquish for the remainder of the contest. This attributed to a 15-3 run capped off by a Khendel Rolison three-point basket. Olivia Demonthenes drove through the lane and laid in the final bucket of the quarter to reach the first official break up 32-19.

Zanna Myers and Boehne traded buckets attributing to a 9-0 run to open up the second. Demosthenes, Avery Curry, and Jamie Finn combined for 11 points in the quarter off the bench to grow Olivet's lead to 24. ONU went into the locker room after an 8-2 with the comfortable lead.
