GIULIANO BOLTS TO FASTEST TIME IN NAIA AT GVSU BIG MEET
ALLENDALE, Mich. – Vince Giuliano set the nation's top time in the 200-meter dash as the Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's track & field teams took on the GVSU Big Meet in their final regular-season competition for the Indoor season.
The senior sprinter from Concord, Mich., blitzed to a time of 20.96 to win the men's 200-meter dash, setting a new ONU school record and hitting the NAIA A standard in the process. This time is currently the top mark in the NAIA as the only mark clocked in under the 21-second threshold. He then set a new ONU best in the 400-meter dash, improving his record time to 47.59.
Hannah Antkoviak set a school record of her own in her respective 400-meter dash at 54.17. She then notched A-standard times in the 200-meter dash and the 60-meter hurdles at 24.65 and 8.58, respectively.
Noah Sears punched his ticket to nationals after clearing a season-best 4.88 meters in the men's pole vault while Kayla Mikottis continued her streak with her sixth-consecutive meet of hitting the NAIA A standard in the weight throw.
