ONU POSTS TWO FLAWLESS VICTORIES OVER IU EAST, ST. AMBROSE

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches in a row as they took down Indiana East and St. Ambrose on their home court Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Tigers did not surrender a single match in the dominant weekend.

Olivet Nazarene 4, Indiana East 0

Juan Banuls Diaz set the pace for ONU with a 6-4, 6-3 win at the top singles match. Davi Toledo took care of business at the No. 2 match with a 6-2, 6-0 win before Chatton Haws swept up a 6-0, 6-0 straight-set win at No. 3 singles. Sanskar Choubey and Paul Saleh were both holding leads at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively, before the match was finished early due to the large ONU lead.

The Tigers made quick work of the Fighting Bees in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) opener for both teams. ONU took down all three doubles matches to collect the doubles point, which in turn translated over to singles. Toledo and Haws continued their dominant weekends with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Choubey didn't drop a single set in his 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 5 match before Saleh closed out the perfect weekend with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
