HANNAH ANTKOVIAK NOTCHES TOP NAIA TIME AT ONU INVITE

BOURBONNAIS, Ill.Hannah Antkoviak set the nation's top time in the 600-meter dash as the Olivet Nazarene University men's and women's track & field teams hosted the ONU Invite, a 22-team event, Friday evening in the Perry Center.

The junior sprinter from Allegan, Mich., blitzed to a time of 1:31.96 to win the women's 600-meter dash on a flat 200-meter track, setting a new ONU school record and hitting the NAIA A standard in the process. Her adjusted time of 1:30.85 for a 300-meter track is currently the top mark in the NAIA, a full 1.5 seconds ahead of second-highest time.

Kayla Mikottis was the top collegiate athlete in the women's weight throw, ripping off a 17.17m mark and hitting the NAIA A standard in the event. She has notched the A standard in the weight throw in every meet this season.

David Olmos was a dual-event winner on the men's side. The junior harrier crossed the finish line first in both the 1000m run (2:33.93) and the 1-Mile run (4:30.69). Vince Giuliano picked up a win in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:23.45.

Brody Vollrath led an ONU sweep in the men's weight throw. He hit the NAIA B standard with the meet's top mark of 17.03m, Daniel DeRamus was runner-up at 16.42m, and Aiden Mclain placed third (15.10m).
