
TIGER MEN PLACE 23RD AT 2024 NAIA CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's cross country team concluded their 2024 campaign with a 23rd-place team finish at the NAIA National Championships Friday morning at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
Nick Janson led the charge for the Purple & Yellow Gold at that national meet, finishing 51st in the 326-runner field at 24:52. Flynn Prather also cracked the top 100 with his 91st-place finish with a time of 25:07. Austin Rush was just a few paces behind at 25:17 to place 121st.
Brandon Armendarez and Austin Tice rounded out the scoring for the Tigers, with the former placing 177th at 25:38 and the latter taking 205 at 25:53. Charlie Bardwell and Chris Levario also competed for ONU at the national meet.
The Tigers tallied 507 points to place 23rd in the 36-team event. The College of Idaho took home the red banner with a final score of 87 points.
ONU's 23rd-place finish at the 2024 NAIA National Championship Meet mirrors their finish from a year ago, placing 23rd at the national meet in 2023.
