TIGERS FINISH SERIES SWEEP OVER TRINITY CHRISTIAN WINNING 11-4
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University baseball scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to rally and beat the Trolls of Trinity Christian College 11-4 Monday afternoon. Donovan Yelle tallied a season-high three RBIs while hitting his first home run of the season. The Tigers extend their win streak to 11 dating back to March 20.
Trinity Christian got off to a fast start scoring four unanswered runs in the first two innings. The Trolls scored one in the bottom of the first inning followed up with three in the second. ONU's bats came alive in the fourth inning as they batted around the order in the process of scoring 10 runs. Within the rally, Kai Hudson led off with a single and subsequently scored and then singled again in the same inning to drive home Nolan Louis. The inning also featured a two-run double by Van Harrington and a two-run single by Garret Mooney.
Matthew Cousino took the start on the mound for the Purple and gold. Despite, the runs early, Cousino settled down and struck out four batters, and walked only one. Peyton Bovie took over in the fifth inning to finish the ballgame. He gave up no runs in three innings with three strikeouts.
Yelle put an exclamation point on the contest by clearing the right-field wall to lead off the seventh inning.

The Tigers quickly turn around as they begin a three-game series with the Lakers of Roosevelt tomorrow. They will travel to Ozinga Field for a doubleheader with start times slated for 1 p.m. CST and 4 p.m. CST.
