No. 20 TIGERS POST SEASON-BEST TIMES AT LOUISVILLE CLASSIC

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Multiple members of the No. 20 Olivet Nazarene University women's cross country teams posted their best times of the year at the Louisville Cross Country Classic Saturday morning at Tom Sawyer State Park.

All five ONU scorers posted their best 5k time of the year in the women's "blue" race, highlighted by Hannah Haag posting an 18:37.0. The time was the first sub-19 for the team this season and netted the sophomore harrier a ninth-place finish in the 229-runner field.

Aleigha Garrison crossed the finish line at 19:09.4 to place 38th at the Louisville Classic. Eleanor Fournier (54th) and Catherine White (58th) nearly cracked the top-50, posting times of 19:29.7 and 19:32.6, respectively. Freshman runner Claire Carter rounded out the ONU scoring in 71st place with a time of 19:46.5.

As a team, the No. 20 Tigers recorded a tally of 214 points to place seventh in the 24-team race, finishing well ahead of No. 10 Grace (21st) and just one spot behind No. 12 SCAD Savannah (6th).

The Tigers will turn around on a short week to compete in the Pilot Invitational on Oct. 11 in South Bend, Ind.
