BOURBONNAIS, IL. – Olivet Nazarene University's men's soccer team delivered a sensational performance on Wednesday, securing a resounding 5-0 victory against St. Ambrose University in front of their home crowd at Snowbarger Athletic Complex.

First Half: The Tigers Take Early Control

The first half set the tone for Olivet Nazarene University's commanding performance. They wasted no time in taking the lead when senior midfielder Holden Devore found the back of the net in the 11th minute, courtesy of a brilliant assist by freshman defender Maxime Schonenberger.

But ONU's appetite for goals was far from sated. In the 19th minute, senior midfielder Elias Nonnenmann added to the tally, showcasing his scoring prowess and giving the Tigers a comfortable 2-0 lead. The first half was marked by ONU's relentless offensive pressure and precise passing, leaving the Fighting Bees struggling to respond.

Second Half: ONU's Dominance Continued

ONU's relentless pursuit of goals continued into the second half. Just five minutes into the period, freshman forward Joel Trueb extended the lead to 3-0, capitalizing on a beautiful setup by senior defender Nick Kilian. In the 56th minute, junior midfielder Alexis Mancera added to the tally as he found the back of the net thanks to a beautiful pass by sophomore midfielder Noa Norton.

This incredible display of attacking proficiency and teamwork left the visiting SAU struggling to find answers.
