GOSHEN, IN. - In a captivating start to the season, Olivet Nazarene University's men's soccer team secured a triumphant away victory against Goshen University on Wednesday. The final score of 2-0 highlighted the Tigers prowess in a competitive matchup held at Ingold Complex in Goshen, IN.

First Half: Gravekamp Strikes, Trueb Assists

The game kicked off with palpable anticipation as both teams looked to set the tone early. It was ONU, however, who drew first blood in the 29th minute, as sophomore midfielder Maarten Gravekamp unleashed a precise shot into the back of the net. The goal was a result of a seamless collaboration between Gravekamp and freshman forward Joel Trueb, with Trueb's well-timed assist perfectly setting up Gravekamp's clinical finish.

Second Half: Trueb Doubles the Lead

The momentum carried over into the second half, and ONU's hunger for goals remained evident. In the 59th minute, it was once again Trueb who made an impact on the scoreboard. Trueb found the back of the net, converting a skillful play orchestrated by junior midfielder Alexis Mancera.
