ONU WRAPS FALL SEASON AT HARBOR SHORES INVITATIONAL

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule by finishing fifth at the Harbor Shores Invitational Monday and Tuesday.

Lizzie Howard, the reigning CCAC Freshman of the Year, led the way for ONU. She had the team's low round of the event, shooting an opening-round 84 Monday. That was followed with a 94 for her 178.

Faith Dalton took 13 strokes off her second round with an 87 Tuesday to card a 187. Mara Bakke was just three strokes back at 190 with consistent round of 96 and 94. Alexandria Jones shot a 203 (109-94) and Mya Jones came in with a 205 (94-111).

As a team, the Tigers shot a 743 (367-376). Bethel, the host school, won the tournament with a 650.

The ONU women's golf team will return to action in March at the three-day Heritage Hill Tournament Mar. 21-23 in Shepherdsville, Ky.
