ONU PLACES SIXTH AT SAINTS CLASSIC
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – In their final event of the fall, the Olivet Nazarene University women's golf team took sixth place at the Saints Classic played at Warren Golf Course Monday and Tuesday.
Mya Jones was the top Tiger as she finished 17th overall. Jones started with an 83 Monday before carding a 91 Tuesday to finish with a 174. Bella Rosado carded a first-round 91 before knocking two strokes off her second round to finish at 180 in a tie for 23rd.
Taylor Ice had rounds of 89 and 95 for a 184 and Amelia Birge put together rounds of 98 and 97 for a 195. Jasmine Essington rounded out the ONU five with a 209.
ONU shot a round of 361, followed up by a 372 to reach 733 and finish in sixth place at the 10-team event. Taylor took the top spot with a 622.
