TIMM STRIKES OUT 11 TO PICK UP CCAC PITCHER OF THE WEEK HONORS

CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University's Allie Timm has claimed the Week 5 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the week honor, the league office announced Tuesday morning.

Timm secured CCAC Pitcher of the Week recognition by earning both victories in a doubleheader sweep of Clarke University (Iowa) last Tuesday. In her 8 1/3 innings in the circle, she yielded only three hits and three walks, while striking out 11 batters.

The senior posted a 3-0 shutout in Game 1, where she recorded 10 strikeouts against the three walks and three hits. In Game 2, she came on in relief to get the final four outs of the contest, while not giving up a hit and striking out one.

The 2-0 week pushed Olivet Nazarene's record to 14-8 overall.
