FIGHTING BEES TOO MUCH FOR TIGERS AT HOME

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University faced off against the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bees at McHie Arena on Tuesday evening, falling in straight sets 32-30, 25-17, 25-22.

The first set set the tone of the match. Both squads came into the game displaying incredible talent. After a lot of back and forth ball play, ONU managed to hold a strong lead over the Bees. Despite multiple kills by Julianne Kielion, Halle Nicholas, Techiya Jackson, Karysn Delbridge and Sophia Johnston, the Tigers couldn't maintain their hold over St. Ambrose, dropping the set with a score of 30-32.

The Tigers tried to make a comeback, securing multiple kills, but had no avail. ONU lost the set with a score of 17-25.

The Bees opened up the third set with high energy, securing points early on. ONU didn't back down, putting up points and putting kills on the board. Depite tying the game multiple times, the Tigers couldn't grab the lead, surrendering the set and the match with a score of 22-25.
