(RV) TIGERS SUFFER FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON TO NO. 5 OKWU

LIMA, Ohio. – The (RV) Olivet Nazarene men's soccer program suffered their first loss of 2022 at the hands of No. 5 Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles 2-1 Saturday. Kurodo Ihara scored early but OKWU stormed back to win it.

The Tigers got off to a flying start finding the first goal of the match. ONU's Ihara found the back of the net at the 15:50-mark. His first goal of the season was assisted by Fabio Hasler. The Eagles responded well finding the equalizer in less than 10 minutes later. The Purple and Gold nearly reclaimed the lead with a shot from Justin Eisenmann forced the netminder to a save followed by Max Jasper's opportunity being blocked. Nothing separated the sides as they entered halftime level 1-1.
