STINESPRING LEADS TIGERS TO RUNNER-UP FINISH AT PILOT INVITATIONAL

SOUTH BEND, Ind.Caleb Stinespring fired a one-under 143 over two rounds to lead the Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team to a runner-up team finish at the Pilot Inviational this weekend.

The sophomore from Richmond, Ill., shot an even-par 72 Friday and then improved on it with a one-under 71 on Saturday to tie for third. Also earning medalist honors in the top five was freshman Lorenzo Mariotti, who carded a 74 Friday before turning around with a one-under 71 of his own on Saturday to tie for fifth place.

Jordan Evans and Jack Rimington both carded 153 over the two rounds to finish in a tie for 22nd. Jack Busch rounded out the scoring for ONU in a tie for 33rd with a 157 scorecard.

ONU placed second out of the 11 teams at the Pilot Invitational, shooting 591 as a team to finish runner-up. Cedarville University shot a one-under 575 to win the tournament.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The Tigers will turn their eyes to the postseason when they host the CCAC Men's Golf Championships at the Cinder Ridge Golf Course in Wilmington, Ill. The two-day tournament will be held on April 24-25.
