NO. 21 TIGERS TOP REDHAWKS IN CCAC OPENER
CROWN POINT, Ind. – The No. 21 Olivet Nazarene University men's soccer program claimed their first win in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Friday night with a 6-0 victory over IU-Northwest on the road.
The Tigers scored three goals in the first half of play. Ruben d'Hollosy scored his first goal of the season as the defender was first to pounce on a loose ball in the box off a Tiger corner kick in the 22nd minute. Two minutes later Justin Eisenmann joined him on the scoresheet registering his third goal of the season. Just a few minutes before the half ended, Fabio Hasler made it 3-0 in the 42nd minute as ONU went into the break with a comfortable lead. The Purple and Gold outshot the RedHawks 17-1 in the first 45 minutes of play with 12 of their attempts on frame.

ONU tacked on two more goals in the second period. d'Hollosy scored his second of the night 12 minutes into the second half. The final goal of the contest was scored in the 87th minute of play. The Tigers were awarded a penalty as Konstantin Papanikolaou stepped up and converted for his first goal of the season to bring the score to 5-0. Mike Giannotta was credited with his third shutout of the fall. The Tigers did not allow the home team to place a shot on goal for the entire match.
