FARIA GARNERS CCAC MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University men's tennis player Francisco Faria was recognized by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) as the Men's Tennis Player of the Week as the organization announced its selections on Wednesday. 

 

Faria, a native of Porto, Portugal, has had an impressive stretch of play for the Tigers.  In the match against Saint Ambrose, Faria won his singles match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.  He also won his doubles match, with Brian Victoria Ayala, 6-2. Faria is undefeated in singles play in conference going 3-0 while he is 2-1 in doubles play. 

 

The Tigers host the Saints of Holy Cross at the Park Forest Tennis Club on Wednesday, April 13th at 11:30 a.m.
