TIGERS FALL TO JUDSON ON SENIOR NIGHT

TIGERS FALL TO JUDSON ON SENIOR NIGHT

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's volleyball team went up against the Judson University Eagles on Thursday evening at McHie Arena.

JU came into the opening set on fire, grabbing the lead and holding on to it. Electric kills by ONU's Kaylee Cozen, Halle Nicholas and Techiya Jackson brought the Tigers closer to taking the lead. The Eagles put a stop to that by snatching the first set with a score of 19-25.

The second set looked promising for ONU, Nicholas and Cozen scoring kills to keep the lead. JU stayed right behind and eventually took the lead right from under ONU. The Tigers couldn't keep the pressure and dropped the set to JU with a score of 20-25.

The last set of the night proved to be the same for both squads. Both teams exhibited incredible skill and kept the Tiger fans on their toes. ONU tightly held on to the lead before JU snuck up behind them and stole it. The Tigers pushed on, eventually coming within three points of the Eagles. The lead was well beyond ONU's reach, ultimately resulting in a final set score of 21-25.
