ONU WOMEN’S GOLF TAKES FOURTH IN BATTLE AT BLACKTHORN

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's golf teams traveled over to Mishawaka, Ind. to take on the two-round Battle at Blackthorn tournament this weekend. The women shaved ten strokes on their score in round two to take fourth place overall, finishing three strokes ahead of IU-Kokomo in fifth. Bethel turned in a 637 score to take the tournament crown.

 

Alexandria Jones was the top scorer for the ONU Tigers, shooting 86 on day one and improving six strokes with an 80 on day two to tie for ninth place. Emily Hayhurst and Lizzie Howard both turned in 170 cards to tie for 17th, while Lydia Steier wrapped up the scoring for the Tigers in 31st place with a score of 182. Faith Dalton rounded out the Battle for ONU, shooting 200 between the two rounds.
