TIGERS UPEND NO. 17 CARDINAL STRITCH TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED IN CCAC PLAY
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's tennis team remains undefeated in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) after they upset the No. 17 ranked Wolves of Cardinal Stritch Monday afternoon.
The Tigers took two of the three doubles matches. The teams of Chieh-Yu Chen and Nirva Patel won their match, 7-5, while the team of Narjis Mzibri and Heidi Moyo won their match, 6-3. ONU started strong claiming the first point of the day.
Mzibri and Moyo won her singles match to take a demanding 3-0 lead as a team. CSU fought back taking the next two matches cutting the lead to one. Natasha Nieto came back and won the deciding match in three sets to clinch the win.
