Tiger Baseball Fell Short in 1-0 Pitcher's Duel

WALESKA, Ga.—The Olivet Nazarene University baseball team resumed play on Friday afternoon traveling to take on the No. 17 Eagles of Reinhardt University at the Ken White Baseball Field.

The Tigers opened the game with a golden opportunity to get on the board. Terry Daniels (SR/Auburn, N.Y.) started the game doubling to right field and advanced to third on a groundout by Timo Schau (SR/Chicago, Ill.). The Tigers then saw the next two hitters strike out and stranded Daniels at third. The Eagles marked the only run of the game on a solo homer in the second inning.

Throughout the rest of the game, Reinhardt and Olivet Nazarene played to a pitcher's duel with a combined 2 double plays, 17 strikeouts, 6 hits, and 7 players left on base as the Tigers came up on the short end of a 1-0 game.
