GROSS WINS FOURTH CCAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

CHICAGO—Olivet Nazarene University senior center Alex Gross won his fourth Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) men's basketball Player of the Week honor this season as the conference announced its selection on Tuesday. 

Gross had another big week for the Tigers.  The Tiger big man marked his second career triple-double as he tallied 20 points, 17 boards, and 10 assists in the win against Holy Cross.  Gross also added his 16th double-double scoring 20 points and grabbing 16 rebounds against Roosevelt.  On the week, Gross also blocked five shots.  The Hope, Ind. native leads the NAIA with 13.7 rebounds a game and with 288 total rebounds. 

The Tigers (19-3, 13-1 CCAC) are in the hunt for their 20th win of the season as they travel across to Indiana for CCAC matchup with the Crimson Wave of Calumet College of St. Joseph.  Tipoff inside the Rittenmeyer Center is set for 7 p.m.
