ONU MEN WIN CCAC FALL PREVIEW CUP TO CLOSE OUT FALL SEASON

WILMINGTON, Ill. – Kyle Spence and Jack Rimington both finished a stroke out of first place to lead the Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team to a tournament victory at the CCAC Fall Preview Cup at Cinder Ridge Golf Course in Wilmington, Ill.

Spence and Rimington both fired a 4-over 76 in the one-round tournament to tie for second place, just one stroke behind individual medalist Alvaro Pardo Gutierrez of Roosevelt University at 75. The 76 round is a collegiate career-best for Rimington. Jack Busch and Jordan Evans both carded 78 to earn a tie for sixth-place overall, while Caleb Stinespring shot an 80 to place ninth.

The Tigers took the team title with a 308, beating out the defending CCAC champions Roosevelt who finished with 321. Trinity Christian took third with a 334.
