TIGERS WRAP UP SEASON WITH FOURTH-PLACE FINISH AT CCAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

WILMINGTON, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University men's golf team closed out the 2022-23 campaign with a fourth-place finish at the CCAC Men's Golf Championships. The Tigers hosted the three-round tournament at the Cinder Ridge Golf Course.

Caleb Stinespring and Lorenzo Mariotti led the way for the Tigers, both carding 241s over three rounds to finish in a tie for 10th place. After shooting an 83 in the first round and an 84 in the second, Stinespring shot his best round of the day in the final round with a 74, the best round by a Tiger in the entire tournament. Mariotti's best round came in the opener, carding a 76 before shooting 83 and 82 to close it out.

Jack Rimington improved his score each round as the tournament progressed to place 14th overall at the CCAC Championships. He shot an 86 in the opener, improved his score by six strokes for an 80 in the second round, and finished things up with a three-stroke improvement in the final round at 77.

Jack Busch was incredibly consistent throughout the championships, carding an 82 in the first round before firing back-to-back 83s to tie for 21st place. Jordan Evans finished strong with two 82s to place 28th.

The Tigers shot their best round in the finale to improve to a fourth-place finish at the CCAC Championships at 327-328-315 (970), +106. Roosevelt won their third-straight conference title with a collective 942.
