FABIO HASLER EARNS WEEK 3 CCAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University Men's Soccer defender Fabio Hasler has earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending Sep. 12, it was announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Hasler collected the defensive honor after an outstanding performance on both ends of the pitch against Indiana University Northwest on Saturday night. The freshman right back recorded his first career goal and first career assist in the match, while also contributing to a shutout that only allowed one shot on goal and two shot attempts in total. The Tigers went on the take the match over the RedHawks 11-0 and improved to 4-1 on the season with the victory.

Other nominees included Justin Eisenmann as a candidate for CCAC Offensive Player of the Week. The sophomore forward registered a career-high four goals in the contest. He scored all four goals within 45 minutes of play.
