JASPER NAMED CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. - Olivet Nazarene University's Max Jasper is back to claim Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and his third or the 2021 campaign. The awards were announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.

 

Jasper gained the nod as the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight time and third time this season by totaling four goals and one assist in leading the Tigers to a pair of wins and the conference regular-season title.  The junior midfielder opened the week with a goal and an assist in a 3-1 victory over Holy Cross College last Wednesday before authoring a hat trick in a 6-0 win versus Calumet College of St. Joseph on Saturday.

 

The Midfielder from the Netherlands finished off the regular season with a team-high 18 goals, 65 shots, and 42 points on the year. 

 

Olivet Nazarene heads into the CCAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed with its overall 13-3-1 record.  In league play, the Tigers finished 10-2-1.
