McAFEE PICKS UP HIS FIRST CCAC ATTACKER OF THE WEEK ACCORD

CHICAGO, Ill. –  Brody McAfee collected his first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week award of his young career, being named the league's Attacker of the Week when the CCAC made the announcement on Tuesday morning.

McAfee was recognized as the CCAC Attacker of the Week after averaging 4.09 kills per set over three matches during the seven-day period ending Feb. 18.  He also chipped in both an additional 1.36 digs and blocks per set on the defensive end.

The freshman opposite-side hitter saved his best for last with his 26 kills (5.2 avg.) in a five-set loss to Campbellsville University (Ky.) on Saturday.  He also registered 10 digs and six blocks in the match.

McAfee's other double-figure kill match came on Friday when he authored ten in a 3-0 setback to Cornerstone University (Mich.).

Olivet Nazarene is 3-6 on the season following its 1-2 week.
