ONU WOMEN WRAP FALL SEASON WITH HOME TOURNAMENT WIN

WILMINGTON, Ill. – In the final tournament of the fall season, the Olivet Nazarene University women's golf team took down a plethora of CCAC foes to win the CCAC Fall Preview Cup at Cinder Ridge Golf Course in Wilmington, Ill.

Lizzie Howard finished with individual medalist runner-up honors, shooting under 80 for the first time in her collegiate career with a 79 to place second overall. She finished just three strokes out of first place. Two other Tigers cracked the top five, as Lydia Steier and Alexandria Jones both shot 91s to tie for fifth place. Mara Bakke carded a 96 to round out the scoring for the Tigers in a tie for 11^th.

ONU won the five-team tournament with a 357. St. Ambrose finished second with a 369, while Trinity Christian took third with a 375.

WHAT'S NEXT?

The CCAC Fall Preview Cup was the final tournament of the fall for the ONU women's golf team. Their season will pick back up in the spring.
