RANDALL’S TWO SHUTOUTS NET HER CCAC DEFENDER OF THE WEEK HONORS

CHICAGO, Ill. – Meegan Randall's two shutouts for Olivet Nazarene University during the seven-day period ending Sept. 24 has earned her the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) women's soccer weekly recognition, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Randall began her conference career by authoring a pair of shutouts to earn CCAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition.  The freshman turned in the first clean sheet last Tuesday with one save in a 1-0 nod over St. Ambrose University.  She recorded another four saves in a 3-0 win over Indiana University Northwest on Friday.

Randall has now posted shutouts in each of her team's three wins this season. Overall, the Tigers are 3-2-2, while being one of only two league unbeatens at 2-0.  

Randall and the Tigers will look to remain unbeaten in league play when they travel to Governors State on Wednesday.
