DELA VEGA’S HAT TRICK NETS HER CCAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHICAGO, Ill. –  After an explosive week on the pitch, Olivet Nazarene University's Hannah Dela Vega gained her first CCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week award, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Dela Vega was a key player in Olivet Nazarene's 1-0-1 week, providing four of the team's seven goals.  The junior forward authored a hat trick in a 6-0 victory over Governors State University this past Wednesday before scoring the game-tying goal on a header in the 85th minute of the team's 1-1 tie with University of St. Francis on Saturday.

Dela Vega has scored six goals in nine games played this season.

The Tigers are even with Trinity Christian atop the league standings board at 3-0-1.  Overall, the Tigers are 4-2-3.
