TIGERS WOMEN'S TENNIS BEGIN CCAC PLAY WITH 4-1 WIN AT ST. FRANCIS
JOLIET, Ill. – The Olivet Nazarene University women's tennis team started Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play schedule with a weekend contest against the Fighting Saints of St. Francis (Ill.) afternoon. The Tigers defeated the Fighting Saints, 4-1.
The Tigers got off to a good start as they won that elusive doubles point after the teams of Narjis Mzibri and Heidi Moyo and the team of Nirva Patel and Chieh-Yu Chen won their matches. In singles play, Mzibri and Mayo both won their singles matches in straight sets to give the Tigers a 3-0 advantage. After St. Francis won the singles two match, Natasha Nieto clinched the win for the Tigers as she won in the fifth singles match.
