MZIBRI RECOGNIZED AS CCAC WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THREE WEEKS

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) recognized Narjis Mzibri of the Olivet Nazarene University women's tennis team as its Women's Tennis Player of the Week.  The organization announced its selection on Wednesday.  Mzibri won her second such honor in three weeks. 

The Tiger senior had a great week as she faced some of the most competitive players in the CCAC.  She went 2-0 in doubles action and 2-0 in singles action against No. 17 Cardinal Stritch and Holy Cross.  Along with her partner Heidi Moyo, Mzibri outscored opponents 12-4 in doubles action and outscored opponents 25-13 in singles.  Mzibri is unbeaten in eighth total matches in the CCAC and is 14-4 in singles and 12-6 in doubles overall this season. 

The Tigers travel to Roosevelt for their final road regular season match this season on Wednesday at noon.
