MCMAHAN EARNS SECOND CCAC DEFENDER OF THE WEEK HONORS THIS SEASON

BOURBONNAIS, Ill.  – For the second time in three weeks, Olivet Nazarene University women's volleyball libero Kaitlyn McMahan was awarded the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Defender of the Week.  The league announced their picks for this weekly honor on Tuesday morning.

McMahan had quite a week for the Tigers.  The Tiger senior posted a new-career high 37 digs in the four-set win against St. Ambrose last Tuesday.  That total is also good for tied for second for the most digs in a single match.  In addition, McMahan tallied 49 more digs in the rest of the three matches played, sent over seven service aces, and notched 10 assists.

McMahan is currently the conference leader with 5.81 digs a set, 500 total digs, and 0.47 service aces a set. McMahan, also this past week, moved into seventh place all-time with 1,599 career digs.
